Netflix Shows you need to watch!

I don’t know about you but I’d much rather spend a Saturday night with a homemade meal and Netflix. These are my favorite shows on Netflix and I recommend them to everyone!

1) House Of Cards

In this Netflix Original, Kevin Spacey is absolutely fantastic as a Underwood, a corrupt politician. The filming was all done with HD cameras and the visuals throughout the season are extremely appealing. Kate Mara is incredible and the story line is very eye opening. Check it out! Season 2 comes out this February.

A Congressman works with his equally conniving wife to exact revenge on the people who betrayed him.

2) Orange is the New Black

This is Netflix’s latest original, and man are they doing it right! Taylor Schilling play the lead as Piper Chapman. Laura Prepon (Donna from That 70s Show) stars as a supporting actress. The story is about Piper’s journey through incarceration as she adjust from her middle class life to life behind bars.

The story of Piper Chapman, a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to fifteen months in prison after being convicted of a decade-old crime of transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend.

3) American Horror Story

This FX Show is written by Glee’s Ryan Murphy. There are currently 2 or the 3 seasons on Netflix, American Horror Story & American Horror Story: Asylum. The first season takes place in a haunted mansion and the second takes place in an insane asylum. The characters in both seasons are very complex and well rounded and the production is top notch. Did I mention Adam Levine from Maroon 5 stars in season 2? That in itself should be a good enough reason to check it out. However, I do not recommend watching this show alone, it will give you chills.

4)Breaking Bad
In my opinion, this is one of the most well made shows in history. Bryan Cranston plays Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher with lung cancer who turns to cooking meth to pay for his treatment. Aaron Paul plays Jesse Pinkman, a drug dealer who used to be a student of Mr. White. The chemistry between all the character is something I’ve never seen before. The story line is dynamic and the acting is phenomenal. Recommended to anyone who appreciates great acting.
